About O S Brake, Inc.

O S Brake, Inc. formerly Ohio Safe-T-Brake, Inc. was formed in answer to the urgent need for a safe, practical, and affordable passenger-side instructor brake that parents could use in the family auto. 

In 2002, Sam Trikilas, former owner of three driving schools and originator of the concept, combined forces with veteran business-marketing architect, John Maggiore to introduce a (r)evolutionary idea:  passenger-side driving instructor brakes for PARENTS involved in training their teens to drive behind the wheel. 

TEENSAFE™ Passenger Brake is the first and only driving instructor brake used by professional driving schools and parents alike.  In addition TEENSAFE™ Passenger Brake is geared toward the needs of rehabilitation hospitals, CDR specialists, and families of individuals with disabilities who wish to extend the training period in a family vehicle.

MISSION To improve the safety and efficacy of Graduated Driver Licensing by: 

• Equipping parents with a passenger-side brake for safe control of the family vehicle during behind-the-wheel training with a teen;
• Providing parents with teaching guidelines that parallel professional curriculums in  order to effectively and consistently achieve a higher standard of driver competence.
